

Steven
Moskowitz has worked in the
fields of technology and education
for over twenty years. He has
worked with dozens of school
districts to access and improve
their instructional technology
capabilities. He has written
numerous articles in the area
of instructional technology in
national technology publications
and presented many technology
conferences. He was a semi-finalist
for Technology and Learning ’s
Tech Leader of the Year Program
in. Steven Moskowitz has provided
consultation services for numerous
school districts.
He began his career in education
as a music teacher, graduating
from the Crane School of Music
in Potsdam. He received his Master's
Degree in Educational Technology
from C.W. Post College and a
Professional Diploma in Educational
Administration from Dowling College.
He has worked as a corporate
trainer with Fortune 500 corporations,
owned and operated a local area
networking business, and has
been a certified network engineer.
While employed by the New York State
BOCES system, he had an opportunity
to act as a technology consultant
for dozens of school districts
in the New York’s Nassau,
Westchester, and Rockland
counties.
He is currently Director of
Information Systems and Educational Technology for the Brewster Central
School District in suburban New
York. He also works with ISTE as the Vice President of Sigadmin, a Special Interest group that provides resources and best practices for school principals and administrators. He spearheaded many technology initiatives in the district and received
the prestigious Pioneer Award
as the educational technology administrator of the year from
the Regional Information Center, and well as an Award of Excellence from the N.Y. Schools Public Relations Association for designing the Brewster Web site.
He resides with his wife and
three children in western Connecticut.
